The Background

Most AI search consultants learned SEO first and added “AI” to their services. Gabe came at this from the opposite direction — as a software engineer who has spent over a decade building the kinds of systems that AI search engines run on.

His career spans backend platform engineering at SourceDay (Supply Chain Management Software), financial technology at Finastra, and enterprise application development at Neubus. He has a degree in computer science from St. Edward’s University. Today he also serves as CTO and Co-Founder of Soorse — a trust-based networking platform for nonprofits and professional groups — where he built semantic member search, AI-assisted matching, embedding-based grant discovery, and natural-language directory features as shipped production systems.

He didn’t learn how AI systems work from a blog post. He built the pipelines.

Why Raise Rank

Raise Rank grew out of a problem Gabe kept seeing in local businesses — especially in San Antonio. The websites looked fine. The content was accurate. They were engineering problems. And every single one of them was fixable — usually in a matter of days, not months.

Gabe built Raise Rank to close that gap.
